Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Immaculate Services, including roof cleaning, pressure washing, driveway cleaning, patio cleaning, gutter clearing, window cleaning, exterior cleaning, property maintenance and other agreed services.
By accepting a quotation, booking a service or allowing work to begin, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. About Immaculate Services
Immaculate Services provides professional cleaning, exterior cleaning and property maintenance services throughout Reading, Berkshire and surrounding areas.
2. Quotations
- All quotations are provided free of charge and without obligation unless otherwise agreed.
- Quotations are based on the information available at the time, including photographs, property details, access information and any site visit carried out.
- Prices may change if the scope of work changes or if additional issues are discovered once work begins.
- Quotes are usually valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
3. Bookings
- A booking is confirmed once a date has been agreed and, where applicable, any deposit has been paid.
- We may request photographs or further information before confirming a booking.
- Customers must ensure we have accurate contact details, property details and access information.
4. Access to the Property
- The customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the areas being cleaned or maintained.
- Driveways, patios, paths and working areas should be cleared of vehicles, furniture, plant pots, toys and other items before arrival where possible.
- If access is restricted, unsafe or unavailable, we may need to rearrange the appointment and a charge may apply.
- The customer is responsible for ensuring gates, water supplies, electricity supplies and parking access are available where required.
5. Water and Electricity
Some services may require access to an outdoor water supply, electricity supply or both. Unless agreed in advance, the customer is responsible for making these available on the day of the appointment.
6. Weather Conditions
Exterior cleaning services may be affected by weather conditions, including heavy rain, high winds, ice, snow, extreme heat or unsafe working conditions. We reserve the right to rearrange work where weather conditions may affect safety, quality or the final result.
7. Cancellations and Rearrangements
- Please provide as much notice as possible if you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
- Cancellations made at short notice may result in a cancellation charge where costs have already been incurred or the appointment cannot reasonably be filled.
- If we need to rearrange due to weather, illness, equipment issues or circumstances outside our control, we will offer the next suitable appointment.
8. Consumer Cancellation Rights
Where a service is booked online, by phone, by email or away from business premises, consumer cancellation rights may apply. In many cases, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period for distance or off-premises service contracts. If you ask us to begin work during this period, you may be required to pay for work completed up to the point of cancellation. Once a service has been fully completed at your request, cancellation rights may no longer apply.
9. Deposits
- Deposits may be requested for larger jobs, specialist work, commercial work or bookings requiring materials or reserved time.
- Any deposit terms will be confirmed before payment is made.
- Where a customer cancels, we may retain a reasonable amount to cover costs or losses already incurred.
10. Payments
- Payment terms will be confirmed before work begins.
- Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due upon completion of the work.
- Payment may be made by bank transfer or cash unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payment may result in further action to recover the outstanding balance.
11. Results and Limitations
We always aim to achieve the best possible result. However, final results can vary depending on the age, condition and type of surface, previous damage, staining, drainage, weathering, moss growth, algae, lichen, oil marks, rust, paint, cement, efflorescence or other existing issues.
Some stains, marks or surface defects may not be fully removable. We will advise where possible, but we cannot guarantee that all surfaces will be restored to an as-new condition.
12. Roof Cleaning
- Roof cleaning methods will be selected based on roof type, condition, access and safety.
- Not every roof is suitable for pressure washing.
- Roof cleaning may involve manual moss removal, soft washing, biocide treatment and gutter clearing where agreed.
- Some moss, algae or lichen staining may continue to improve over time after treatment.
13. Pressure Washing, Driveways and Patios
- Pressure washing may reveal pre-existing damage, loose pointing, unstable slabs, cracked surfaces, poor drainage or previous deterioration.
- Block paving may require re-sanding after cleaning where agreed.
- Repointing, repairs, sealing and additional treatments are only included where specifically quoted.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing faults or deterioration exposed during cleaning.
14. Gutter Clearing
Gutter clearing removes accessible debris from gutters where safe and practical. Repairs, replacement parts, leak repairs and downpipe unblocking are not included unless specifically agreed.
15. Customer Responsibilities
- Please inform us of any known defects, fragile surfaces, leaks, loose tiles, damaged paving, blocked drains, electrical hazards or other relevant issues before work begins.
- Windows and doors should be closed before exterior cleaning begins.
- Pets and children should be kept safely away from the working area.
- Vehicles and personal belongings should be moved away from the working area where possible.
16. Damage and Liability
We take reasonable care when carrying out all work. We are not responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects, poor installation, hidden damage, loose materials, fragile surfaces, faulty fixtures or issues not disclosed before work begins.
Any concerns must be reported as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of completion, so that we can inspect the issue and respond appropriately.
17. Health and Safety
We reserve the right to refuse, stop or rearrange work if we believe that conditions are unsafe. This includes unsafe access, aggressive behaviour, dangerous surfaces, unsafe weather conditions, hazardous materials or any situation that may put our team, customers or the public at risk.
18. Photos and Videos
We may take before, during and after photos or videos of work carried out for quality records, marketing, website content, social media or portfolio use. We will avoid showing personal information where possible. Please tell us before work begins if you do not want photos or videos used for marketing.
19. Reviews and Feedback
Customers may be invited to leave a review after completion of work. Reviews should reflect the customer’s honest experience.
20. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us as soon as possible so we can try to resolve the matter. We may ask for photographs, access to inspect the work or reasonable opportunity to put things right.
21. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for general information only. We aim to keep information accurate and up to date, but services, prices and availability may change without notice.
22. Privacy
Personal information provided to us will be handled in line with our Privacy Policy. We will only use customer information for enquiries, quotations, bookings, service delivery, payment, customer communication and related business purposes.
